Writing and publishing a book has always been a dream of mine. My grandfather, Henry Clay Ferree was a writer for the local newspaper when I was growing up and I couldn’t imagine anything better than following in his footsteps. In my work as an elementary school counselor, I am inspired by the stories all around me. Children love to talk and share. My first book, Wyatt The Wonder Dog Learns About Good Manners, incorporates many of the stories, problems, inspirational and clever ideas I hear from the children I work with everyday. Through my writing and speaking, I hope to encourage and empower children as well as adults to discover and live their dreams.
